At
Los 3 Amigos
we hope you are here to
consider the environmentally friendly and money saving option of
converting your diesel engine to run on waste vegetable oil.
Your diesel
engine will run quieter and smoother on WVO with the same horsepower
and mpg usage
A waste
vegetable oil conversion will:
-
Utilize a waste product as fuel
-
Help reduce tailpipe emissions and fossil fuel dependency
-
Put the savings in your pocket
We specialize in Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO)
Conversions,
WVO Filtration
and
WVO Products
When Rudolf Diesel invented the diesel engine,
he designed it to run on peanut oil. It was soon discovered that it
would operate on cheaper petroleum oil. Today diesel engines will
run, with a little modification, on peanut oil as well as on the
oils of canola, soy, corn, sunflower, safflower, palm, olive,
coconut, hemp, cottonseed, sesame, and many others

These
oils burn much cleaner in a diesel engine than diesel fuel. They
emit no sulfur, and thus do not contribute to acid rain. Fossil fuels, on the other hand,
release carbon captured millions of years ago, upsetting the
atmospheric balance and causing global warming.
Another benefit is
that the particulate matter emitted from running on vegetable oil is
way lower than diesel fuel. Gone is the obnoxious diesel smell and
black smoke, replaced with the smell of cooking oil. Also, any
veggie oil spills are biodegradable.

Each WVO Conversion we do is a
Custom Job.
There are many options for us to decide like,
Filter Locations, Tank Size, Cold Climate Driving, Control
Location, Pre-made hoses with crimped fittings or We can use hose
clamps on barbed fittings, as you can see. We will need to discuss
all your options to come up with a custom plan for your diesel.
